A group from Trinity UMC volunteers at the Altoona District Mission Central HUB in Altoona on the last Monday of each month from 1-3PM.

 

Volunteer drivers are always needed for this vital ministry.  Contact Cathy Mellott, 224-0150, if you are willing to serve in this way.

 

During the summer vacation time we serve community children - infants through 18 years of age - a nutritious free lunch.  Volunteers are needed to help prepare the menus and also to monitor the dining room.  Adult meals are available for $2.50.  A representative from the Roaring Spring Library will be present twice a month for crafts, and a story time will be held every Wed. at 12:30.  For more information please contact Rose Shaulis.

 

A free meal is offered monthly usually on the second Saturday of the month from 5-7pm.  See the event calendar for the exact dates of the meal.

This meal is open to anyone.  Visitors from the community are encouraged to join the Trinity Family for this meal. 

 

Traditionally a  free meal is offered on Thanksgiving.  This meal is usually served from 11:00 - 1:00, see the events calendar for further details.  This meal is open to ANYONE, no reservations are required.  Just bring your appetite.  No need to eat allow at home.

A free lunch is available one Monday a month from September - May.  It is usually the 4 Monday of the month.  See events calendar for the exact dates.  Meals are available to eat in or take outs.
